Marben Touching

Ürün, Afyon Sugar mermerden, usta zanaatkarlar tarafından tamamen el işçiliği ile üretilmiştir. Ürün yüksekliği yaklaşık 50 cm'dir.
Bu mermer heykel, tek bir blok doğal taşın oyularak işlenmesiyle üretilmiştir. Kompozisyon, uzanan bir el formu ile onun altında yer alan yumuşak kumaş kıvrımlarından oluşur. Sert ve ağır bir malzeme olan mermer, yüzey işçiliği sayesinde akışkan ve dokunsal bir etki kazanır.
Eserde figüratif anlatım soyut bir yaklaşımla ele alınmış; el formu belirginliğini korurken, detaylar bilinçli olarak sadeleştirilmiştir. Başparmağın ileri yönelimi, temas ve yaklaşma fikrini çağrıştırırken, alt bölümdeki kıvrımlar hareket ve süreklilik duygusunu destekler.

This piece is crafted from Afyon Sugar marble by master artisans, utilizing a completely handmade process. The height of the product is approximately 50 cm.
This sculpture is carved from a single, solid block of natural stone. The composition features a reaching hand form resting above soft, fluid fabric folds. Despite the inherent hardness and weight of marble, the masterful surface finishing imparts a sense of fluidity and tactility to the material.
The figurative expression is approached through a minimalist lens; while the form of the hand remains distinct, details have been intentionally simplified. The forward orientation of the thumb evokes a sense of contact and proximity, while the undulating folds in the lower section emphasize a feeling of movement and continuity.
The core conceptual focus of the sculpture is the translation of the sense of touch into a spatial form. The stark contrast between the solidity of the marble and the soft transitions carved into its surface enhances the work’s perceptual power. As light interacts with the sculpture, the shifting surfaces allow the form to be interpreted differently from every angle.
